If someone asked me would I go and buy myself a pair of Gucci sunglasses the answer would be no. Not because I don’t like them or I think they are unstylish. I just wouldn’t because I think they are too common and I don’t particularly like wearing glasses with branding plastered all down the sides. It is just a personal thing I have, a great pair of glasses should sell themselves just by sitting on the shelf. Let’s face it and be honest, many people out there do buy into brands and I did too when I was younger but now I am just older and wiser.
However, I may now have to change my mind a little after I saw their new ad in Grazia magazine. Their latest pastel coloured sunglasses (Flora collection) are simply too cute to resist and I do like all things cute- its my weakness, I am 28 and I am still in love with Hello kitty for goodness sake.
They come in 5 gorgeous pastel shades which are huge this summer and I simply love the butterfly detail on the corner. They are the perfect accessory for your summer wardrobe and even when the sun is not really shining (which happens a lot in the UK), you can still wear them because the coloured lens are not too dark. So you won’t look silly when you are wearing them indoors (well I feel silly wearing sunglasses indoors anyway) you can just keep them on like normal and of course still remain stylish. At the end of the day they are part of the outfit so if you take them off it will just not be the same.
