London Fashion Week always brings a buzz to the capital and I love the energy that it gives. Almost everyone gets dressed up for the occasion or some do just look plain ridiculous to try and stand out. One thing I don’t understand during London Fashion Week is why do boys wear tights? When did it become ok for the opposite sex to wear tights?

First day of London Fashion Week always feels special because everyone is excited and full of energy but of course by the last day it is a very different story- a large cup of double shot skinny latte becomes the must have fashion accessory for a quick energy fix to get them through that last day.

One element of fashion is about being bold and making a statement.  By the looks of things for Autumn/Winter 2013 that is certainly the case with KTZ some of the eyewear is out of this world and borderline ridiculous!

I am not even sure if you can class them as eyewear or head gear but nevertheless I wonder if eyewear designers will be taking inspiration from this? Will Autumn/Winter 2013 for eyewear be all about boldness and making statements? If they seem too daring (which I think they are) then maybe something from the picture below will be a better option?

They probably look less scary and more like a pair of glasses by most consumers standards but it is still all about bold and making a statement. Let see which eyewear designers will be taking inspiration from this because I think the consumers are ready but will the opticians be open minded enough to sell it?! That is the golden question! However, I can ensure you there are some fabulous opticians out there who are daring and like to break the norm. Us as consumers just need to be lucky enough to find them!
