Did you all have a good bank holiday weekend? The last one in 2013 (well in the UK anyway). My weekend was pretty relaxed and chilled but I did have a wander round and looked at a few market stalls for a vintage drinking glass. I want it to put all my rings in it because I quite like using pretty drinking glasses to house my jewellery and even my glasses sometimes.

I was at Spitalfields market over the weekend- I love that market, I love the atmosphere and I love all the random stuff the stall owners sell. I could spend HOURS there looking and during my hunt for the perfect vintage drinking glass I came across many vintage frames. I… Want… Them… ALL!

Vintage Glasses

I really love vintage frames but I think I would be too scared to wear them just incase I break them. I will probably buy vintage frames as a collectable item and just admire them. During my Spitalfields market stroll I came across the coolest frame- check out the photo above. LOVE them!

It may look like a necklace but it is actually a usable pair of glasses! That’s right people they don’t just look pretty but they are also functional. However, back then they obviously used to use real glass as lenses so to have them hanging around you neck surely is a bit risky? I am very glad now days they no longer use glass as lenses because I will have no hope and might as well have laser eye surgery.
