October is here which also means two things to me 1) my dad’s birthday (I call him daddy Shing to all my friends) and 2) Of course, halloween! I love fancy dress, I could never get enough of it during my uni years. It just great fun, you get to be something or someone completely different for one night. I am so hoping that one of my friends will host a halloween party.  I would host it at my new pad but it is still not “guest ready” with boxes being neglected and the spare room has turned into a “let’s just leave it here for now” room.

With halloween coming up I have a few awesome masks for you to complete your fancy dress costume. Again I don’t know why but I LOVE masks, they are so pretty and you can hide from everyone else- it definitely adds a sense of mystery and spookiness. However, if you are going to wear a mask then I think you will have to ditch your glasses for an evening because if you try to wear both it is not going to be too comfortable.

OR alternatively you can try wearing your glasses over the mask but if you have got big glasses that are bigger than the mask it may not work too well. It may be a tad extreme to design mask with prescription lenses, especially when it is for one night only so I think ditching the glasses and wearing contacts are the way forward in this instance but can I just clarify that I would NEVER encourage you not to wear your glasses 😉

However for one evening of fun then yeah sod it- ditch the glasses and wear a pretty mask because there is no other way around it- you can’t wear both and sometimes in life you just can’t have your cake and eat it and this is definitely one of those times. If you do have some clever way to get around that then please do share your wisdom with us all.

Anyway if you are looking to buy a mask for halloween or just for a party you are attending then I highly recommend Accessorize lots to chose from with  prices to suit all budgets 🙂
