Over the weekend I was busy sorting out quite a lot of things for a carboot sale because since moving into the new pad I somehow realised I do have a lot of stuff. Stuff I don’t remember I had or just things that I have never used- such as the christmas presents I never wanted. On Sunday I was up at 5am to do this carboot sale and it was a successful day. My husband and I got rid of a lot of our unwanted belongings and we made about £65 which is good considering we were selling most items at around 10p – 50p each.

What is a girl to do once extra money has been made? Go shopping of course! I was actually too tired to do any actual walking around the shops so instead I went shopping online and checked out the Debenhams sale section. You know what… I was loving the massive banner ad they had for the sale section because all the three models the girl, the guy and the child were all wearing glasses!

I love it! I love the fact that the stylist for this photoshoot used glasses to style all the models who are in different age ranges and both genders but I think this does proves a point that a pair of specs is just like any other fashion accessory. All the specs worn give each model a different look which again is what I have always spoke about- different specs will give you a different look, hence it is important to have more than just the one pair of specs.

Well done Debenhams- I love the used of glasses in the banner ad and I hope more and more stylists out there will use glasses on their photoshoots. Specs WILL become more of a key of fashion accessory, slowly but surely! Woo hoo to us specs wearers- keep up the spexyness!
