If you have been following me since forever then you would know I am a huge fan of Look magazine so yes of course I follow them on Facebook, twitter and all the other social media channels. As I was getting my Look facebook fix yesterday I came across a photo of Proudlock with couple of the Made In Chelsea lads (oversea readers, Made In Chelsea is a UK “staged” reality TV show). You may have noticed the same photo if you are a fan of Look and yeah there is something different about Proudlock, isn’t there? YES! He has swapped his trademark round retro specs to a pair of rather rectangular glasses but you know what, they sure do suit him!
Don’t believe me? Then check out the screen shot I took (if you can’t be bothered to click on the link) or if you do want to see the actual thing then here is the link to Look’s facebook page.
However, as we can see he is still sticking to the classic tortoiseshell. The shape really suits him even though it is completely different to what he used to wear. This angular shape does give him a completely different vibe, he looks more serious. What do you think readers? I think Proudlock is demonstrating a classic example here that you can be daring and go from one shape to another completely different shape as long as you dare to be adventurous and give it a go. You may end up opening more doors to more style options.
If you need a hand with picking your next frame because you to want to try out a different shape then follow the MGAM guide to frames and face shapes. It is just a general guide and all you need to do just try, try and TRY! You NEED to try different glasses on!
