Today I am going to carry on with the tech glasses theme from yesterday because the new iPad air was launched not too long ago and I feel we should carry on with tech thing. Yesterday was about the google glass and today is all about glasses that record – readers meet Pivothead! If you are really into your extreme sports (like my husband) then you have probably heard of something called a Go-Pro which you can wear on your head/bag/car to record all the action.
Well Pivothead is similar in their purpose to capture the action but have taken a different approach. It looks like a normal pair of glasses BUT in the middle in between your eyebrows there is a tiny hole and a camera- a very discreet and sleek design.
The glasses design themselves are pretty cool and you can certainly tell it is designed for extreme sports. They have got that Oakley glasses feel to them. These sort of glasses are most certainly a functional piece of equipment and the tiny camera that is embedded is good quality at 1080p! The Pivothead glasses are also available are sunglasses so you can choose which is best for you. Some models are obviously better than others but the one above will allow you to take video in HD (and still shots) with many other cool functions which I don’t really understand myself but if you love a gadget, extreme sports and just cool things then you need to check them out yourself!
