For the past few weeks I know I have mentioned a lot about brands, the fashion shows and the seminars happening at 100% Optical but I feel it is time to put our focus on something else that I feel quite passionate about which is helping charities. At 100% Optical as well as bringing the optical industry together and showcasing some of the best products along with top industry speakers, 100% Optical has also put their focus on charities. During the 3 day show there will be an area dedicated to different charities so it helps raise their awareness. I bet some of you (like me) have not heard about some of them before such as See Ability and Centre for Vision in the Developing World.
Why is it important for us to be aware of these charities? It is quite simple really, you never know one day you may need one of them to help you or someone close to you and if we are fortunate enough to not need their help in your lifetime then it never hurts to do a good deed.
All the charities that are exhibiting are of course eye related because as I have said time and time again our vision is one of the most important things to us and without it our world would be pretty dark and scary . Since it is an eyewear show of course we are going to support vision related charities.
I am 100% certain everyone will be excited to see Guide dogs with their cute and VERY clever doggies because yes they will also be exhibiting but don’t get too distracted by the cute dogs, also take a look at other charities and most importantly don’t miss your seminar! All the Charities are doing a fantastic job to make a difference and I hope 100% Optical can help raise their awareness to a wider audience. Check out the good work they are doing and maybe you can do your bit to help too? On that note have a great weekend! See you back here on Monday.
