Have you all had a good bank holiday weekend? It was a tad rainy so no BBQs but I hope it was a good one for you all anyway. As for me I was celebrating my very 1st wedding anniversary with my darling husband (who I met 9 years ago on the day we got married!). How time does fly by. On the note of weddings I have had some majorly exciting news over the weekend too! My gay best friend or aka my “gay husband” is GETTING MARRIED!!!!! He got engaged on his 30th birthday last weekend! I was so so so SO excited when I heard the news and this is not even the best bit.

I have been asked to be his best lady/grooms-maid- or whatever you want to call it, basically equivalent to a bridesmaid. I am so honoured to be asked, I have always dreamed of the Sex and The City 2 moment where Standford marries Anthony. Hahaha! I am only kidding, he won’t be having swans, a choir or any celebs to marry them off but nevertheless it is still just as exciting and just as fabulous! Now my next question is… in the wedding I will be playing the role of Carrie Bradshaw and I LOVED her headpiece in the movie. I would love to wear something similar but I am not sure if that would work with glasses as well???

I think if I want to wear a head piece like that it may look too much with glasses. What do you readers reckon? Yes, I will be wearing a tux too apparently! So I definitely want to aim for the Carrie Bradshaw look if I can. Help me readers… headpiece with glasses- too much? Will it be either headpiece or glasses?

My friend hasn’t even set the date yet but already I am worrying about this. What a fashion girl I am! ha! Anyway, your suggestions would be helpful because I do believe sometimes you can overdo accessories. It is like you can wear too much jewellery and too much make-up so I definitely do not want to look like I am wearing too much and look ridiculous!
