This morning I got up bright and early and headed into London for the launch of the new partnership Transitions have with eyewear brand EyeRespect. Transitions lenses are of course the colour changing lenses and fairly recently they brought out a brand new colour- graphite green inspired by the classic Ray-Ban Aviator. The graphite green doesn’t just serve a cosmetic purpose, it actually makes everything seem sharper and clearer. I of course tried them out this morning when the sun was beaming and looking at my surroundings certain colours seemed to pop out more and were clearer compared to normal.
It is hard to explain and something you will only understand if you have tried them out for yourself but I am sure if you pop into your local opticians they can help you with that. I have to say, I thought the graphite green lenses would be greener but they are actually quite subtle and you can only tell they are green when you place them next to the grey and the brown lenses.
Whichever colour lenses you choose they look extremely stylish with the EyeRespect range. The EyeRespect collection is so stylish that they do work really well as optical or sunglasses styles so this is the perfect partnership. I think sometimes with glasses they are better as either optical or sunglasses but I think EyeRespect frames have got the perfect balance.
EyeRespect have got various capsule collections alongside the main EyeRespect collection (i.e the Londoner range- I will talk more about that tomorrow) and the Transitions partnership only applies to the main EyeRespect collection but if you really love a frame from the main collection and want them in Transitions lenses then I am sure something could be arranged. It is worth asking!
The main EyeRespect range is super high quality using the best 7 barrel hinges and Italian acetate so you are getting the best of the best and with Transitions lenses you will be making the most out of them. They will change from optical to sunglasses in a matter of seconds.
