MGAM Sponsored PostFollowing yesterdays exciting announcement of MGAM partnering with 100% Optical again for 2015 I thought I would give you all a sneak preview as to which brands are returning to the London eyewear show in 2015. In the fashion world certain designers will always return to certain cities, season after season to showcase their collection.  This could be because they liked the city or they had a good response from industry insiders so it is a good thing when a brand wants to return to a show. This is no different with 100% Optical, many brands who exhibited at the first show enjoyed their experience and had a good response so they are coming back for more in 2015.

Now, this is GREAT news for us consumers because if brands are willing to come back again this means the range of glasses at our local opticians will become better and better year on year. All the UK based independent opticians don’t have to travel as far to check out the latest fashion in eyewear PLUS they can save money on flights to Milan and Paris.  Surely this means more money to buy in great frames for us consumers!

I know the big high street chains do offer fantastic affordable ranges but I know many of you out there want to find something that is a bit more niche. Lets face it, we don’t want to be walking around bumping into people who wear the same frame as us. In fact that is probably everyone’s worse nightmare when you turn up to a party to find someone in the exact same dress, skirt, shoes, shirt or trousers as you. Ahhhhhhh! It is the same for glasses. This show WILL bring more choice to consumers and that is, 100%, a good thing.

So far massive Switzerland brand Gotti, German brand Flair, another German brand IC! Berlin, then another German brand Lindberg and finally Inspecs (who produce glasses such as SuperDry, Radley and Austin Reed) will be back for more. They all decided to come back because of the success of the first show. Everyone said the show is so well organised that it might even beat other well established shows such as Silmo and Mido! Now that must be something to be proud of and shout about! Keep up to date with all things 100% Optical on the blog, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook! Have a great weekend all! See you back here on Monday 😉
