Did you all have a nice weekend? Mine was spent back at my parents sorting through some of my old stuff. Even though I have now been married for over a year and half (and moved out over a year ago) my old bedroom is still full of my stuff. In fact, it almost looks like I haven’t moved out. Ha! As I was sorting through my old stuff I came across many old photos.  I remember when I first started this blog I said I could not find any photos of me wearing my very first frames because I hated them so much… well your luck is in! I have actually managed to find ONE (and one only)! I was still in my school uniform (Looking beautiful… NOT!) and check out that retro looking monster of a computer monitor next to me! How technology has moved on so far and so fast.

Oh god, how bad do I look in those frames and more importantly how uncool/unfashionable did I look? LOL! Again, looking back I can see how my sense of style and fashion has changed and moved on for the better.  I really do not understand why my mum picked these frames for me and why did I let her pick them for me? On the other hand I am extremely glad that now days the choice of frames is far better too because back then the choices were either, boring metal, frumpy, old or just ugly. No one seemed to care about how the frames looked, they were more of a medical necessity.

Apart from sharing with you guys my old (and rather uncool photo) I also have some news to announce. If you have been following me on Twitter lately then you may have noticed I have been moaning a lot lately about being tired bla bla bla… WELL… that is because my husband and I are expecting our first baby! I had my 20 weeks scan today (hence the half day) and nope not telling you guys the sex. You will all have to find out in April. I know people normally announce their baby news at 12 weeks but we wanted to wait before making it too public (so only close friends and family knew). If you have seen me at events recently then you may not have even noticed that I am pregnant because I don’t look 20 weeks at all. I look bloated and thats it! The reason I wanted to tell you about my pregnancy is because in the future I will be doing more pregnancy related posts on our eyes because pregnancy can effect a lot of things including your vision etc, these things I never knew before being pregnant and are truly fascinating.
