As you may be aware I do have a thing for eyelashes. I will even go on to say I have an obsession with them just because us Asians are not gifted with beautiful curled eyelashes. Eyelash curlers just doesn’t seem to work too well for us either. I love an eyelash extension but it can get a bit pricey after a while with all the infill appointments. Plus if you have them too long they will keep bashing against your lenses! So I have come to an alternative conclusion which is to try eyelash perming since my natural lashes are fairly long and that works quite well for me. With nice curled eyelashes you also need a good mascara to really show them off. I have tried A LOT of mascara in my time and I have never found something I am 100% happy with, until now!
I bought an Elle magazine back in January (I think) and they were giving away a miniature Benefit Roller Lash mascara. I am a huge fan of Benefit make up anyway so I was really excited to try this out. I have tried their other mascaras before and I liked them but I didn’t love them because something wasn’t quite right. However, when I tried this Roller Lash mascara I was in love! I have never used such an amazing mascara before and it did what the packet says. Here are the stats from customers that have tried and tested it out, 97% said it visibly lifts lashes, 87% said it gives a longer lasting curl and 94% said the eyes look wider. So yes you can basically wave your eyelash curler goodbye.
At the moment my eyelashes are not permed because I have been slacking on that front so they are just how they are normally but once I apply the Roller Lash mascara I do find that it really lifts my lashes up and the lift last ALL DAY , it doesn’t really curl them as such but Asian eyelashes just don’t curl, not even with a curler, I once spent £25 on a curler that still did nothing so it just goes to show how our eyelashes are so I have come to accept that. This mascara gives such a good lift that yes I do feel my eyes look wider and yeah, it certainly lasts all day. The best of all it is perfect to wear with my glasses because it lift my eyelashes up without being too OTT and knocking my lenses causing a streak of black marks on them.
I highly recommend this Benefit mascara! It may seem pricey at £19.50 but you get what you pay for and for me personally I have not come across a mascara that is this good and it does what it says! I do find with other brands I have tried the lift does drop and by the end of the day my lashes just look flat. You can grab your very own Roller Lash mascara from a Benefit counter nationwide. You can find them at Debenhams (where I got mine from), Boots, House of Fraser etc you get the picture. I am looking forward to getting my eyelashes permed before baby is due and see how the mascara will work with them being curled too… excited! I will let you know how I get on next week 😉 In the mean time have a fabulous weekend and see you back here on Monday!
