Now I am a mum my sleeping pattern has gone a bit Pete Tong to say the least and my main worry at the moment is… Is she getting fed enough? What colour is her poo? ( I never knew the colour of poo was that important until now) and is she peeing enough? I also find when she fills her nappy it puts a smile on my face. Whereas before things like glasses, shoes, bags and clothes put a smile on my face. Don’t get me wrong they still to but oh how my priorities have changed within 2 weeks of becoming a mum. As people call it… maternal instincts.

So during my night time feeds or just whenever I feed which is around the clock at the moment (the joy of breastfeeding) I often read articles online.  The other night at around 4am I came across this article on celebs before they hired a stylist. In that article I came across a photo of Jennifer Aniston before and after she hired a stylist. I was not very fond with the way they worded how she would “even at times be wearing her glasses” like it is a crime to wear glasses on the red carpet!

Don’t get me wrong I know there are many celebs out there (especially female celebs) who probably do actually wear glasses but they tend to ditch them on the red carpet more than when compared to male celebs. I am always quite fascinated by that. I mean is there a reason behind it? I have to admit before reading that article I wasn’t even aware that Jennifer Aniston wears glasses.  It just goes to show how glasses are still not the accessory of choice (not so much for females anyway). I mean how many of you out there were aware Jennifer Anniston wore glasses?

I know she is not far from her 50’s so her eyesight may change and she may need to wear glasses to aid her to see but looking at that photo from fram10.com it is clear that photo of her was from way back. Clearly she has worn glasses for a long time.  I wonder how many other celebs out there actually wear glasses and I wonder if one day soon we will see more female celebs in glasses on the red carpet? Thinking about it, most celebs looks like they wear eyelash extensions down the red carpet so I wonder if that maybe one of the factors for not wearing glasses? Who knows and the mystery shall remain unsolved, for now.
