Hey readers! First things first I apologise for the lack of blogging but in the next post you will find out why as we are taking MGAM in another direction for 2016. Plus baby is going through a second round of teething so once again, no sleep for me. Motherhood is certainly a new experience.

So this is technically the first proper eyewear related blog post of 2016 and it is a good one! I think the title is probably a bit of a giveaway so lets just go straight into it. Hollywood star (and I don’t think you can get much bigger than)… Brad Pitt has been spotted wearing a Silhouette rimless frame back in December 2015 during the premier of The Big Short.

I was a little shocked that Brad Pitt went for a rimless frame because to me I guess I have always associated rimless with a more mature gentleman but I keep forgetting he does now fit into that category. Can I just say, he is looking even more dashing than ever at his “mature age” and in his rimless Silhouette frame. He could not have picked a better frame if you ask me and if all gents can pull of frames like that then do it!

Then back in the UK Simon Pegg has been spotted wearing his full rim SPX Illusion whilst out and about in London back in December 2015.

Yes, thats right Silhouette are well known for their rimless but they now also offer a range of really stylish lightweight full rim glasses that are super comfy and super durable. If you like what you have seen and want to copy Brad Pitt or Simon Pegg then to get the look head to Silhouette.com to find your nearest stockist.  The RRP for both frames start from £200 so not a bank breaking price but an A-star look 😉 Treat yourself. It is the new year after all. New Year, new look.
