Last week I was invited to attend the photo shoot of bag brand Goodordering as they are launching their very first eyewear range. If you love cycling to work or for leisure, then this bag brand could be your new best friend. The bags are well thought out with a compartment for laptop and all your other gadgets with plenty of space for your personal belongings. You can attach it to your bike when you are cycling and wear it like normal once you have reached your destination. It is a versatile bag.
The bag got a real retro vibe to it, but with a touch of the Scandinavian simplicity. So, moving onto the eyewear. What are they all about? Well, the founder, Jacqui Ma is a huge fan of glasses, especially round glasses so for the first range, it is all about the round glasses with colours to match the bag collection. The idea behind the glasses is well thought out too, and again with cyclists in mind, it comes with two extra magnetic fronts. One in a yellow tint and the other in normal sunglass tint. The yellow tint is apparently good for night vision so perfect for cycling at night and it is also good for a dreary cloudy day.
Of course, the sun lens is just great for normal everyday cycling need. Then, if the weather does not require any of the coloured lenses, you can just wear the frames with an optical lens and use them as your everyday glasses. You are basically getting 3 looks in 1 which is great. They serve a purpose and not just for aesthetic reasons.
For some eyewear enthusiast, the Goodordering collection may seem small with only one style in four colours, but this is a trail collection to test out the cycling world. If you are not a cyclist, but just like the look of them, then, by all means, give them a go. You are getting 3 pairs of glasses for the price of one that can serve different purposes according to your need. They are really easy to magnetic on, I think you can even do it whilst you are cycling along, not saying it is the safest idea, but just proving a point on how easy they are to clip on. It is effortless. I also loved the packaging too and for £85, is a steal for 3 pairs of glasses. You can find out more about the brand here and you can buy your own pair here.
