You, as my readers will know, I am not a blogger who plasters my blog with sponsored posts and ads because I only write about what I believe in. I do have brands approaching me on a regular basis to do sponsored posts but most of the time I turn them down. Either because I feel they are not a good fit for MGAM or I don’t have a strong passion for the brand.

Who are Zyloware Eyewear?

When American company Zyloware Eyewear approached me, I had a look at everything they sent over and I was intrigued.  What really got my attention was the fact they are the oldest family owned optical frame supplier in the US. They have been going since 1923! Impressive! I do like a company with a bit of history, it makes them more interesting, I think so anyway.

They are now a global supplier of quality frames who pride themselves on innovation, quality service and customer satisfaction. The brands they work with are big names over in America but some are also popular over in Europe such as Via Spiga and Leon Max. In this post, I will be focusing on Leon Max.

The Leon Max Collection

Leon Max is right up my street. They are aimed at fashionistas between the age of 20- 40 and I fit right in that age bracket. I was also rather drawn in by the styles and shapes of them, they are bold and fashion forward. I do like my glasses to make a statement.

If you actually take a look at the Zyloware Eyewear website, you can see that the collection is quite large. Some of the shapes are real fashion pieces but what I love about them most are the pretty colours and all the different patterns they come in.

As well as plastic, they also come in metal (or a combination of both).  My personal favourites within the Leon Max collection is the range that starts with six zero zero (600). All the pieces are really strong shapes with muted colours and stunning embossing/engraving details.  The wearer can make a statement without looking too over the top. To me, they also feel quite elegant and really give a sense of uniqueness.

The Verdict

My personal verdict on them? Give Leon Max a try if you want to experiment with your glasses at an affordable price. They retail between $197.85 – $239.85 so that is about £150 – £185 (with the current exchange rate!). If you ask me, that is a pretty good deal. They are not overly expensive but you are getting a quality piece that totally makes a statement and can transform your look, easily taking you through from day to night. I hope to see more of them in the UK. What do you guys think? Feel free to comment below or tweet me or Zyloware Eyewear here.
