PANTONE system 2 with blue and white arms

So the weather forecast was right, it was indeed raining today- In fact lots of it! I want to know if it is just me or do other people feel the same when it comes to rain and wearing glasses? Do you guys know where I am going with this?

Let me clarify- when it’s raining outside and you are wearing glasses it gets highly annoying when your lenses get watermarks on them from the raindrops. Sometimes I almost wish there were little tiny wipers to wipe the water away because you really can’t see out of them sometimes. Or how about putting some rainX on them so the raindrops will just glide off (rainX is the stuff they use on car windscreens).

That itself is not the most annoying thing. The most annoying thing is when you are outside in the rain then you go indoors. The lenses just steam up so you have to physically take the glasses off to wipe them clean or you can’t see for at least a few seconds (it may sound short but it seems like a life time when you can’t see!). Obviously being an optical wearer the idea is that you wear glasses to aid you to see, but if you need to take them off to clean them, for those few seconds you feel vulnerable because the world around you might be just one great big blur!

I did wear glasses to start with but I got highly annoyed so changed to contact lenses instead. Today I was wearing my PANTONE system 2 geeky glasses (or my boyfriend would call them the Spongebob glasses!).
