If you were in London Today around the Somerset House area then I am sure you were hit by a wave of fashionistas in the area who were all coming out to play and showing off their individuality. In the fashion world all eyes will be on London for the next few days as they unveil the many talents of Britain. As well as new talents, the industry favorites are also showcasing their collections and I was lucky enough to go to some of them. My personal favorite has got to be Maria Grachvogel at The Savoy.
As soon as the show started and the first model came out, the clothes took my breath away. The pieces were gorgeous and all beautifully cut. As the models were walking along it felt like the garments were just floating by. All the material looked so soft and yet very well structured and the cut really suits the female body which, is the designers philosophy. I believe she has definitely achieved that!
All the colours used for this collection are all neutral tones with some of the most amazing pattern designs. I do wonder would elements like these also have an influence in the eyewear industry. Maybe for the next season, eyewear will use softer lines, more neutral tones, but use a lot of patterns? I do wonder!!!
All in all this show and this collection did not disappoint and it is one of the most talked about shows from today.
