Yesterday my fiance and I went to the Ideal Home show to get some ideas for our new home. I have to say I was quite surprised with the amount of stuff there is and it’s highly dangerous to the bank balance! We could have bought a load of things and spent the entire wedding fund in the process.

The one thing I was most surprised with, not only can you buy home stuff but also clothes, jewellery, make-up and discount designer sunglasses (which, I was particularly keen on). Above everything we did make a purchase, we bought one very cool gadget and I would like to share it with you… say a massive hello to Fridja!

Yes, I know it’s got nothing to do with glasses but this gadget is too good not to share. Like me if you HATE ironing then don’t fret because the Fridja answers our prayers! So what is Fridja? It is a small, stylish compact clothes steamer which gives our clothes the “out of the shop” look every time.

Have you ever wondered how clothes look so perfect in shops and just never look the same after washing and wearing them a few times?! Well that is because all the clothes have been steamed before going onto the shop floor. As well as for retail, clothes steamers are also widely used across the fashion industry.

In the glossy fashion magazines before a photoshoot the stylist’s team would probably be steaming all the clothes to make sure they are all perfect before shooting and the same rules apply to the bridal industry. If you want your clothes to look this perfect each time you wear them then you need a Fridja in your life!

It comes in 6 gorgeous colours so I am sure at least one of them will match your home interior and I promise you, it will not look out of place 😉 to find out more about Fridja or where to get your hands on one then go to By the way for us glasses wearers- yes our glasses will be steam up during the process but it’s a small price to pay for “shop fresh” clothes! 😉
