On Friday I was enjoying a lovely afternoon with a very dear old friend of mine. We were doing “ladies that lunch” kinda things- how I wish I could do that once a week as a treat but the reality is, I can’t! Not even as a treat.
My friend and I were having afternoon tea over in Kingly Court just by Carnaby Street when we both spotted a very quirky little vintage shop just by where we were sitting. Oh and we were having afternoon tea at C’est ici, very gorgeous and yummy cup cakes by the way.
Vintage Glasses Galore
When we finished, we walked straight into the shop and I didn’t even look at the name of the shop but all I can remember was, it was next to a shop called Traffic People. As soon as I walked into the shop I noticed there were loads of vintage glasses right by the front window, I was so excited! I was like a kid in a candy shop and my friend thought I had gone mad.
From the packaging you can see the frames are by a brand called Anglo American Optical who produce vintage style frames. If you are after some vintage stylie frames then take a trip down to Kingly Court, have some afternoon tea at C’est ici then shop around all the gorgeous little boutiques. There are some real gems there and this little vintage shop has got loads of amazing pieces! It should be on every fash girls and boys list of “must visit destinations”.
If you want to find out more about Anglo American Optical then go to http://angloamericanoptical.co.uk/# and just for your information, I managed to restrain myself and didn’t buy myself another pair of glasses. I am very proud of myself! It was hard!
