I think now days we are all guilty of this… using a computer at work (like I am right now writing this post) and even if we don’t use a computer at work we will still some how manage to stare at a screen of some kind whether it is our smart phone, iPad or just playing on a games console. For me on an average day I will be staring at my computer for nearly 12 hours a day! Me being self-employed I probably do tend to work longer hours but I chose to and the blog does require my time to maintain since now it is growing (and with exciting plans ahead too).
During your work day, gaming session or whatever it is, make sure you take regular breaks. Stare into distance after every 20minutse will be ideal and some gentle eye exercises before bed is also advisable. This little exercise below is something I have put together after doing some research, it is very simple, easy to follow and takes literally a minute of your time.
This exercise is good for the muscles of your eyes because when you spend too long staring at the same thing your muscles just don’t get used. Give it a go and see how long it takes you? 1minute? under a minute? Such a simple exercise we can all do to maintain our eyes health, it is so simple that it should be a crime if you can’t be bothered to do it.
Anyway I hope you have taken onboard this easy peasy exercise and in the mean time have a great weekend! I am sure mine will be awesome as I am off to see my uni chums for our annual meet 😉 See you back here on Monday!
