We are now under 5 days away until the start of the first ever London Optical show, who is excited? I am certainly a wee bit excited! I have already planned what glasses I will be wearing over the 3 days and have not actually picked what clothes yet! The clothes will have to work around the glasses 😉  So what else do you need to know about the show? The basic information is:-  it will be over 3 days, many international brands will be exhibiting so hopefully it will bring more excitement to the UK optical market, Hugo Taylor from Made in Chelsea will be at the show (and modelling on the catwalk), then it will finish with the launch party to mark the occasion.
Now, if that doesn’t excite you and make you want to come then I don’t know what will. Maybe some special offers & discounts will interest you.  If you are coming along to the show exclusive offers will be available on the day so here is what you can expect (and sorry to my none optical industry readers this may seem a load of gibberish). You can expect money off with Zeiss with a special show price on diagnostic equipment and software (Stand M110), discounts with Marchon eyewear manufacturers (stand E240), win 50% off your first order from the Eyewear company  (stand E220) AND you can win OptikamPad Dispensing System with an iPad air (stand L100).
If you haven’t registered then I hope those great offers have tempted you to visit, it’s free to come along. As for my none optical industry readers it may not interest you because you are probably thinking “what has this got to do with me?”. Â It is in your best interest for your local optician to go so they can get the latest and greatest of everything ready for testing your eyes over the coming year!
Just think your opticians could be testing your eyes with the best and the latest equipment then you could pick the latest frames available so it is a win-win situation for everyone! On that note to all fellow bloggers who read please do drop me a line if you want to come along to cover the event and launch party. See you there!
