Yesterday after my meetings (and seeing that cute little old lady glued to her newspaper) I went along to the Marc Cain bloggers event. They were show casing their Autumn/Winter 2014 collection and it does feel odd to be looking at winter stuff already since we are still waiting for summer to arrive but nevertheless that is how we roll in fashion. There was no eyewear but I was there to check out what I can feature for upcoming versions of the MGAM magazine which covers everything fashion related.
Marc Cain have got some stunning coats coming out and I WANT THEM ALL! They are real statement pieces with strong shapes and I even got to model one in their street style type shoot.
The Marc Cain team called it “the seal jacket” because of the colour and the pattern. It was such a cute jacket and so warm considering it was quite a cold night last night. I love it and it definitely gets a thumbs up from me! One thing that fascinates me the most about the collection is the use of emblishments on dresses and jumpers. Even all the shirts had really cute buttons!
Whenever I see these kind of details on clothes I always wonder if that will be transferred into eyewear? Like will we see embellished glasses? I mean why not!? We probably embellished almost all fashion items so why not get involved with glasses too? Again, the colour palette of this collection is fairly muted with greys, dark blues, nudes and blacks with the odd splash of yellows and greens so will eyewear follow the same palette? All these questions are bubbling in my head. Hehe. Overall I loved the Marc Cain clothing range and thank you team Marc Cain for inviting me to your event 🙂
