Over the past 3 days it was London Collections: Men which is fashion week for men showing casing what is to come for spring/ summer 2015. I know we are only just stepping into summer 2014 but of course in the fashion world they are always working one step ahead. I personally don’t tend to go to men’s fashion week just because I am more focused in covering women’s fashion but for this season I thought I would check it out. I didn’t go in person but I have been catching up with the highlights online everyday.
I of course have been more focused on eyewear and have been seeing what sunglasses (or glasses) shapes are coming in. From what I can gather by looking at about 10 different highlights, round shapes will be big for next summer. Now they are slowly coming into fashion but I think by summer 2015 they will be huge and judging by the amount of mirrored sunglasses on the catwalk this trend will be here to stay for another season but the colour of them seems to go more vibrant and crazy than ever!

I think round shapes are probably the hardest shape to wear and they definitely don’t suit everyone so gents be warned! Don’t always follow fashion head on because you may end up looking a bit silly. However, if you do want to give the round shapes a try then don’t go for an obvious round shape. Try something that has rounded edges and see how you get on!
On the other hand the ladies fashion week is not too far away (September 2014) so I will keep my eyes peeled and see what is in store for women’s eyewear. You never know, it might be the same as the gents or it could be something completely different. Stay tuned!
