If you are a fan of Will.i.am (and/or like me) obsessed with his eyewear collection and just forever wondering where his glasses are from because they are so damn cool then brace yourself… when I heard the news I got a tad over excited! Mr Will.i.am will be launching his very own eyewear range, ill.i! That is correct, you have heard it right!
At the moment there isn’t too much information on the ill.i range or any images as to give us any indication what the ill.i range is going to be like but all I know is this is a creative partnership between entrepreneur and glasses connoisseur will.i.am and long-term friend, designer George Gorrow. The range is designed by George Gorrow with Will.i.am as the creative director.

What will ill.i bring?
The ill.i collection will include progressive sunglasses and optical styles for men and women. The frames draw inspiration from memorable moments in Will.i.am’s early career and eyewear influences including 80s hip hop – expressed in contemporary design, unique technical details and future thinking which pretty much sums up Will.i.am’s eyewear style. So if you love his eyewear then you need to check out his range but it is not due to launch until mid September so we have still got a bit of a wait.
I for one cannot wait to see the ill.i range because I have always been obsessing over his glasses during The Voice and I have always thought it will only be a matter of time before he brings out his own range!
