I think the title says it all as to what this post is about and I have often thought to myself are men better looking with or without glasses? Mind you the same goes for women but I personally find men can pull off the whole glasses, suit, geek chic look SO much better. I also find men seem to be more ok with the idea of wearing glasses compared to women- is that a vanity thing? Who knows, but I am sure if there is a debate on the subject, it would go on forever.
My cousin has sent me this article on male celebs who wear glasses and are apparently better with glasses than without, but do you agree? Check out the article here and see it for yourself. My personal favourite was Bradley Copper… OF COURSE! He is just hot with or without glasses, either way I still love him but for me I don’t agree that all those male celebs look better in glasses. In fact I felt some of them are wearing the wrong shape and style which makes them look pretty awful… example, Chris Pine. The frame is a tad too bold for his face as he has quite a petit face so the glasses look a bit like the mask of Zorro. BAD in my book.

My favourite male celeb that wear glasses oh-so-well has to be Tinie Tempah, he is my all time favourite because he really suits glasses. He seems pretty adventurous with his styles too… not colours because he always seems to wear black but shapes he definitely experiments with.Then to the other end of the scale, right near the bottom of this list John Slattery (I recognised him from Sex and the City, the politician Carrie dated!). Can I just ask, WHY are his frames wonky? That is just unexceptable in my book. I know it is common for people to have an ear higher/lower than another but there are ways to adjust the glasses so they don’t seem as wonky. Not a good look, who is his stylist OR his optician!? How could you let him walk out with wonky glasses like that?
All in all do I feel men in glasses are better looking? It is a tough one because it depends on 3 factors such as… 1) have they picked the right frame for their face? 2) If they are wearing a suit then it is likely that most frames will look good with a suit (it is like the fashion law) and 3) If they have nice eyes then yes they should frame them with a pair of awesome specs… super hot! Read the article yourself and tell me what you think, I personally do not 100% agree that all the men featured are better in glasses. The debate goes on…!
