Tonight was the first event I attended since my Hong Kong trip and it was all about the new Red or Dead 2014 clothing collection. The event was held at their amazing head office which has a swimming pool, although we didn’t get to use that unfortunately! We had a quick presentation on the new range and for 2014 Read or Dead have gone for a school uniform vibe and that has been translated into their eyewear collection which was launched back in March, so nothing new for me to cover there.

The collection is fun as per usual because Red or Dead is all about fun but looking at the collection they have gone quite mono with the colours which I thought was rather unusual for Red or Dead as they love a colourful print. Talking about prints, their handbags always have some quirky, funky, colourful prints as linings so it is a bit of a hidden gem, you just need to know where to look.
Red or Dead 2014 Cat Handbag
My favourite handbag from the collection has to be the cat shoulder bag with red glasses (photo above) because it is cute and it has something to do with glasses 😉 hehe. All animals look cuter with glasses if you ask me! I liked the school theme for the clothing range.  Back in my school days if my uniform looked like that I would be quite happy wearing it everyday.  It is something which you can revamp all the time with endless amounts of inspiration.

I do love the fact that Red or Dead also design their own eyewear that ties in with their clothing range because many fashion brands would sell their licence to an eyewear manufacturer then that is it. The manufacturer takes over the designs which of course means the brand may not end up with something that ties in with the rest of the collection. I am 100% all for the school uniform theme and it definitely works for the glasses range which will certainly make you the coolest in the classroom!
