In the world of fashion it is all starting again! After all the festivities it is straight to Men’s Fashion Week or also known as London Collection Men. The 4 day mens fashion extravaganza starts tomorrow and as for Women’s Fashion Week it will follow soon with the London Show starting on the 20th February. Can you imagine all the poor male models having to watch what they eat over the festive period just so they can fit into the clothes since it is so soon after Christmas. Here is me, sitting as I am writing this, chowing down half a pack of chocolate digestive biscuits. However, I am eating for two so my excuse is baby LOVES biscuits, especially shortbread. lol!
For this season they are of course showing what is to come in A/W 2015. I know it seems far away to think about winter 2015 when we are still in the freezing cold but that is how the fashion world works. So why am I writing about this? Well, although I do not attend the men’s fashion show myself I am always on the look out to see what eyewear they are putting on the models because I have always found they are more likely to put eyewear on men than they are on women. No idea why but I guess some men in glasses and suits really does look rather hot! Last year super model David Gandy was spotted in front row wearing Bailey Nelson specs! He sure did look dashing!

Looking at the catwalk schedule I am rather excited to see Hardy Amies because they do some lovely frames and every season they do feature their eyewear range down the catwalk. Other brands to look out for would be Oliver Spencer, KTZ for some crazy outrageous designs and finally Savile Row because they have just done a massive relaunch of their eyewear range. Surely they have got to feature them down that catwalk!?
I will be catching up on all the men’s fashion week news over the next few days and see what is what with eyewear. I will let you all know so you can get an idea of what to expect in the world of eyewear fashion for A/W2015 😉 If you do want to catch some of the action yourself the London Fashion Council do show some of the shows via live stream but just make sure you check everyday to see what is on!
