Tomorrow will be exactly two weeks until the show opens its doors so if you are planning to visit have you registered yet? If not do not fret, there is still plenty of time to register but just don’t forget to do it. It will save you time when you arrive that is all, but if you did forget, you can of course still sign in at the door which may take you a little longer to fill in some details but no biggie. This week has been a busy week for MGAM and it will continue for the next couple of weeks before the show starts. Lots of emails are flying around about the show and a lot of finalising to get the show as perfect as we can for the exhibitors and visitors to enjoy.
If you missed last Fridays post then it is a recap on everything we have blogged about the show over the past 6 months. If you did attend the show last year then you may have a 100% Optical magazine landing on your doorstep soon. The magazine is all about what to expect at the show, from frames and lenses to seminars and networking opportunities. If you did miss the 2014 show and want to have a flick through of the magazine you can actually read the online version available on the 100% optical website.

The 100% Optical Magazine
The magazine will give you a pretty good idea as to what is to come at the show and it may even help you to plan your visit better. You will have a better idea of what is happening. Or if you are not sure if you want to attend because you are still unsure about the show (because it new etc) then I highly recommend you to look through the magazine to give you a better idea and as I was saying it is never too late to register to attend, it is free 😉 I think as a frame lover and a consumer myself this show really does bring a lot of different niche brands to the UK. As a buyer or owning your own optician this is a golden opportunity to see everything under one roof.
Finally another reminder… have you all took part in the #BLINKWINKTHINK campaign that was launched few weeks ago? 100% Optical is working with the charity Fight for Sight to raise awareness of eye diseases and all the research work they do to combat them. It is so simple to do and please do not forget to nominate 3 friends to take part too and help spread the word. Take a selfie style photo with one eye covered with anything you like and use the hashtag #BLINKWINKTHINK on social networks. If you have got £3 to spare then please make a donation by texting BWTC15 £3 to 70070. Do not forget to gift aid if you are from the UK and are a tax payer. Have a great weekend all and see you back here on Monday!
