Wow it has been a busy day of seeing different brands and chatting to many, many interesting people. My last blog post was of course about the fashion show and this one is also fashion related but it is a manufacturing house who produce frames for many well known fashion brands… Mondottica.
Mondottica design and manufacture frames for brands such as Ted Baker, Joules, Hackett and Christian Lacroix just to name a few. So what did I think of them… I have not seen Ted Baker frames since I was about 19 and I have not looked into it since because I thought they were a little dull (baring in mind when I was 19 that was 11 years ago!!), however I was very impressed with what I saw today! My god I am “old” now. The 2015 Ted Baker range is very in touch with what is happening with the clothing range and they use the exact same pattern and colours because the design team at Ted Baker work closely with the Mondottica design team.
I was actually really impressed with some of the stories they were telling me about the process of producing a frame, how a collection comes about and the input Ted Baker themselves put in. If you have been following me on Twiiter then you have probably seen a few quick snaps of what I was looking at but if not here is a sneak preview of what you can expect from Ted Baker 2015 collection along with a sneak preview of what you can expect from the all new Joules range which is not even due out until high summer in August! You guys are in for treat! I was a fan of Joules when they came out last April at the Vision Express launch and I was certainly impressed with the 2015 range. I hope you guys will be too.
There are more to come from my findings of today and just not enough time to tell you all but stay tuned because another blog post will be coming later after the opening night party which is about to commence any moment now! Yes, I am going to write you a blog post after I have been partying because I do not want you guys to miss out 😉 Stay tuned!
