Hello all and did you all have a good weekend? Mine was pretty good because I have had good amount of sleep so I was living the new mum’s dream. Yesterday… wasn’t the weather a bit stunning? It really was perfect sunglasses weather, I hope it is the beginning of summer ( we can always dream). Since the weather is starting to pick up it is only right to start going a little crazy over sunglasses. This summer we are in for a treat because Tom Davies has bought out 6 stunning limited edition sunglasses which are sold exclusively at their Sloane Square store. The collection is called the Chelsea Collection and they are designed for us ladies. The detailing on them is pretty special too using a gold plated titanium trim sunk into the acetate. They are not just your average acetate… they are cotton acetate. It does’t mean they are light as cotton but from my understanding it means they are more environmentally friendly and have a better colour range to choose from.

The concept behind the detailing actually came from a bespoke consultation Tom Davies had with one of his clients. Since the gold trim detailing has been so well received he felt it is the right thing to do by launching this limited edition in time for summer. To carry on with this theme the Chelsea Collection will also act as inspiration for Spring/Summer 2016 global ready to wear range. So, what we are seeing now is technically a preview of what we can expect to see from Tom Davies next year! Highly exciting or what!
