As you all may be aware that in the MGAM online shop we sell a rather cool nifty product called Nerdwax. I tried and tested it out myself before we started selling it.  After trying it I believe in it so much and fell in love with this handy little stick, I was confident soon enough everyone will feel the same and I was right! Yesterday a journalist from the Daily Mail featured it in the Daily Mail Lifestyle section and we didn’t even know about it until a customer told us. After yesterday it is clear that there are many people out there who also believe Nerdwax is a rather handy product whether you are a specs or sunglasses lover.

Since yesterday Nerdwax has been selling like hot cakes and today we are completely sold out with many people emailing in asking when it will be back in stock. It will be back in stock soon but it could take up to couple of weeks because it is coming from America and once it lands in the UK, customs likes to hold the packages hostage for a few days to sort out the tax etc. If you are unlucky and unable to get yourself a stick then stay tuned on twitter or sign up to our notification list and you will be notify once they are back in stock.

I know a few opticians I met during 100% optical thought Nerdwax was “a pointless product” because a well fitted frame doesn’t need something like Nerdwax to help keep the glasses in place. I don’t disagree but Nerdwax is so handy if you just want a quick fix and lets face it, the older the frame the harder it is refit them. Nerdwax is so handy for sunglasses that people may buy off the shelves, the same goes for reading glasses. I think it is safe to say consumers are loving this product and there is a need for it.

I wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to the journalist Josephine Forster for featuring it.  I really want to say thank you personally and I would love to know how you come across NerdWax? In the mean time if you are after some Nerdwax then please do check back in couple of weeks time or follow us on Twiiter @MyGlassesAndMe or our Facebook page.
