I don’t think I need to elaborate on the brand Converse because I am pretty sure everyone is aware of them! In fact I am sure some of you may have an obsession with the brand. My husband for one has got about 4 pairs of Converse and a very good friend of mine, her collection of converse is pretty large too. I personally quite like converse but never had a pair because all the lacing up put me off, especially now with a baby. Now it has to be a case of slip on and go.
Last week while at the Specsavers press day they launched a brand new Converse eyewear collection. If I remember correctly the converse range will be rolling out across all their stores nationwide this week so if you are in need of a frame and are a fan of the brand then go and check them out.
The converse eyewear collection is rather fun with quite a range of vibrant colours to choose from just like their shoe collection and if you ask me, for a first collection they are pretty spot on. Almost all first collections I have come across are never quite right. Let me be clear as well Converse eyewear is not something new but this collection is exclusive to Specsavers and it is something Converse, Specsavers and eyewear manufacturers Remdottica have worked on together.
As well as the optical range there is also a sunglasses range which I am a fan of because the colours are beautiful and all the shapes are your wardrobe staples, just in time, perfect for the summer. They have used the star logo and incorporated it into all the frame designs so that is a nice little touch. I can see this range being quite popular with teens. The good news is they are also part of the Specsavers 2 for 1 offer so you can afford to go nuts without the expensive price tag. Check out their website now or pop into your local store.
