So back in April last year I went along to the launch of the very first collection for Joules eyewear. Over a year later the second collection is here! The launch was once again held at a Vision Express store. Instead of their usual London flagship store in Oxford Circus it was held in Bath (simply because that is a brand spanking new store). So, it was the perfect occasion to show off the new store and the new collection but I was not there for the launch! It was too far for me to travel especially with a baby as well.
The PR agency did send me images of the range so I have not completely missed out but yes, I agree… it just isn’t the same as seeing them first hand.
So, looking at the images, what did I think? I thought the shapes and colour palette were all pretty similar to the first collection but hey “if it ain’t broken don’t fix it” because the very first collection was a success. It must have been spot on with the shapes and colours because as consumers that is what we focus on.

Joules Eyewear 2015 Collection
The new collection consists of 16 frames with new pattens being introduced. The tartan will be perfect for the winter period and the florals will work all year round. With this collection I am actually rather drawn to the metal range because the colour combinations are different to what I have seen before. Additional design features include the Joules signature hare that can be found hopping around on two tone temple tips and inside nose pads.

Now I have a little girl I am actually rather excited by this, just like the first collection they have once again brought out the mini me range! The mini me rage is basically the adult styles made smaller, suitable for girls from age 8- 12. How cute! If my daughter ever needs to wear glasses in the future… I will definitely be getting her some Joules because no high street brands actually do a mini me range of eyewear.

Joules 2015 Collection
The Joules eyewear range is designed by glasses manufacturing house Mondottica in collaboration with Joules and here is the all important information. The range was launched on 11th September and should be available nationwide across all Vision Express stores soon. Finally, the range is priced from £60 for sunglasses and £149 for optical, with the girls optical available at £131, or £40 with an NHS voucher.
