Yesterday I attended two press days. These press days was a little different than before because I had to take baby with me since no one could babysit. I really wanted to go because they were not your ordinary eyewear press days. It is probably the first time ever that eyewear didn’t have a separate press day from the clothes. It was refreshing to see the eyewear collection with the clothing range so we can really get the feel of the whole deal.
I was supposed to write a quick preview post yesterday but I was simply too tired as I carried my 15lb+ baby in her carrier ALL DAY. I have to say I really could not of done it without my bestie’s help. She was amazing! Looked after her whilst I was busying taking photos and talking to the PR etc. It was also a bonus that my baby was so well behaved too and I secretly think she really enjoyed herself looking at all the fashionable clothing and glasses. Hello Ted Baker’s baby range! Ha!

Ted Baker’s press day was actually held at their head office “The Ugly Brown Building” and I have to say I am in love with their office. It has such a good vibe and just really, really cool. It made it extra special to see the eyewear range within Ted Bakers own environment instead of just an eyewear press day when you don’t get the feel of the entire brand and how the eyewear range fits in into it. They did mainly display the sunglasses range because it is the Spring/Summer 2016 press day but they did have a few optical frames there which were stunning! Really strong colours and just really fun and vibrant, they went perfectly with the clothing and their lifestyle range.

Then in the afternoon I headed over to Yohji Yamamoto press day. I have always been a fan of the brand because they do some seriously cool stuff. The technical and the cutting they use for the clothes are amazing! The eyewear range was equally as impressive and bearing in mind the eyewear range is still pretty new because this is only the second collection. How I would describe the range? Super-cool and very edgy. Again it was great to see the eyewear with the clothes because you can really see how the whole thing flows and fits together.

For the full write up please stay tuned next week because right now I really need to rest up as I am aching ALL OVER! Carrying over 15lb+ of weight was like having a workout itself plus all the walking around on top. I will be doing a lot of resting this weekend whilst husband takes over and looks after the baby.
