Wow it has been a busy past few weeks! I went along to the Goods Agency press day and only now I have the time to do a quick preview post on it (the joy of motherhood thats for sure). Anyway the Goods Agency is the only PR agency which specialises in niche eyewear. None of this mass produce malarky which is quite refreshing to see.
In this press day I have certainly come across some brands which I have not even heard of. That is nice because it just goes to show there are so many eyewear brands out there and the industry is still growing and going strong.
There were roughly 15 niche brands at the press day and some certainly stood out to me such as the very theatrical Anna-Karlin Karlsson. All the pieces were stunning and very dramatic. Some people may see them as a bit OTT and don’t think they are suitable for everyday wear but I think if you want a statement piece then that is your brand.
I was also a bit in love with the WestWood Leaning range especially the all rose gold frames. I mean everything about them, from the frames to the lenses, even down to the nose piece! I really did love them as I am a huge fan of rose gold as well. I thought it all worked nicely and didn’t look too much. On that note must dash, lots to do and so little time!
