If you have been following me on social media then you’ll probably know that I have been a busy bee, in and out of London a lot. That is because I have been planning what is next for MGAM and have had meetings with many different influential people within the UK optical industry. So what is the big announcement? Well… are you ready?
MyGlassesAndMe (MGAM) will be working with the FMO exclusively on promoting the UK optical industry, which also means I will be working with the largest optical trade show in the UK – Optrafair. For my readers who are not in the industry, FMO stands for Federation of Manufacturing Opticians and they are the voice of the UK optical industry. So, I am massively honoured to be working with a company with so much history and their team who have a wealth of experience in the industry.
So, what will I be doing for the FMO? I will be working with them on all things social media and tieing it all in with Optrafair which was founded by the FMO 38 years ago. The FMO itself will be reaching the grand old age of 100 in 2017 so it will be a great year to be working with them.
I am hoping that MGAM will have a positive influence on the industry and help it to grow and thrive!
