I am very excited to be announcing this news, registration for Optrafair 2017 is now open! I am excited because it is the first time MyGlassesAndMe have worked with this long standing UK show. The show was founded by the FMO (Federation of manufacturing opticians) back in 1978 so it is a real heritage show.
I have sat through a few meetings with the FMO and Optrafair about planning the 2017 show, and all I am going to say is… it is going to be a great show because 2017 marks a very special year for the FMO as they reach 100 years old. I can confirm there will be celebrations to mark this occasion. Alongside that, there are some great new features coming to the show and some of the industry heavyweights have already signed up to exhibit.
The 2017 show will be in Birmingham NEC, and it is the perfect destination for the show, in the middle of England with fantastic transport links and the newly improved NEC has got a brilliant “resort world” around the area with shops, restaurants and evening entertainment to ensure your 3 day stay will be a good one.
