I am highly excited by this eyewear launch because it is a brand I am a huge fan of. I am of course talking about Cath Kidston, and I think the title is probably a bit of a giveaway. The brand started in 1993 and has gone from strength to strength. It is now a global brand offering their customers a wide range of products from homewares to fashion. The brand is well known for its British design and nostalgic style with a touch of a vintage retro vibe.
Like a lot of brands, it almost seems like a natural step to expand the product range by introducing an eyewear collection, and that is exactly what Cath Kidston has done. For their eyewear collection, they have partnered with eyewear design house Mondottica. An exclusive range for Specsavers has already been on the market for a few months, but this range I am talking about now will be available to buy at other selected opticians and is different to the Specsavers range.

Cath Kidston Floral Optical Glasses
The styles in the optical range tie in with the Cath Kidston vintage feel perfectly with a revamp’d catseye, who doesn’t love a catseye? To finish the design of the frames, they are of course printed with some gorgeous Cath Kidston prints, and I am a huge fan of the floral prints within the collection. I am totally in love them! As well as optical, there will also be a sunglasses range, all equally as beautiful with different prints available. They are all made from lightweight and durable acetate.

Cath Kidston Floral Sunglasses
I have not seen them first hand yet, but I will soon. I am just excited so I wanted to share the exciting news with you all because they are due to launch this week! For more information visit the Mondottica website. Otherwise, stay tuned and follow my social media pages because I am due to see the full range beginning of February at an eyewear show. In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed having a sneak peak of the frames. I can certainly not wait to try one on myself! If you love the brand like me, then I am sure this summer you will certainly be sporting a pair of their sunglasses on your face. If you wear glasses like myself, then you will be itching to get your hands on the floral optical style.
