Last week I was invited along to the Spring/Summer 2018 preview of Anna Karin Karlsson collection. I first came across Anna Karin Karlsson a few years ago via the GoodsAgency which is a specialist in eyewear PR and distribution. I still remember seeing the collection for the first time, I was impressed and you can see the collection is very much focused on being the haute couture of eyewear. It uses luxury materials, such as gold plating, real diamonds and real pearls.

The Collection
For Spring/Summer, 2018 Anna Karin Karlsson did not disappoint. She delivered yet another stunning collection. I was in love with the optical range, the attention to detail was simply stunning, from cute butterflies to stars, all used in a creative way too, not just put in random places. When I saw the optical range, I was like a kid in a candy shop. Tried them all on and wished I can have one of each to go into my very own eyewear wardrobe. ha!

Anna Karin Karlsson optical range starts from around £450 and you can be sure for that price you are getting the best materials such as gold plating and good quality acetate. Some of the more luxurious optical range even go up to the thousands of pounds since they use real diamond and pearls. They really are what I call jewellery for your face.

As well as the optical range, the sunglasses are just as impressive or dare I say, have even more of the wow factor. From bold shapes, statement lens colours to interesting decorations. From my understanding, Anna Karin Karlsson is building up quite a large celeb fan base and they have also launched a jewellery line for Spring/Summer 2018. What you see from the eyewear collection, it has been transformed into stunning pieces of jewellery.
