Back on 21st May 2018, I went along to the Brando press day and as I was saying in the Yohji Yamamoto post. I took an afternoon off from motherhood to go along because I really needed a break from being a mum and they were throwing a little party to go with the press day and this mama needed a party. ha! I did say the blog posts to accompany the Brando press day will be a bit delayed because I am currently on maternity leave.
The first time I came across Sunday Somewhere was probably back in 2015 and I remember thinking I quite like the story behind the brand. It was build around the carefree vibe, being a free spirit and the journey we walk through life. So, what is the eyewear like?

It is everything you can expect from that carefree vibe. Simple lines, the unfussy coolness and shapes that last the test of times with a subtle modern twist. The campaign shots were spot on too and really selling the idea of that free spirit vibe. My personal favourite within the 2018 collection were the tinted light brown giant aviator. I loved them because I can imagine myself on holiday, sitting in a cafe and enjoying the sunset, the perfect tint to take me through from day to night. At the moment, I do dream of going on a childfree holiday quite a lot. haha!

Here are some geeky industry fact for you. Sunday Somewhere were an independent brand to start with but in 2017, they went under the wings of Brando. So now, Sunday Somewhere is part of the Brando Eyewear portfolio. I am excited to see how far Brando can take Sunday Somewhere because in the past they have had some celeb following from Queen Bey aka Beyonce to Pixie Lott.
