Walter & Herbert, made in England eyewear just launched 14 new optical styles and 2 new sunglass styles to their collection, ready for A/W 2018. All the frames are named after English icons such as composer Edward Elgar, artist & sculptor Barbara Hepworth and scientist Barnes Wallis.

I have been a fan of Walter & Herbert for quite some times now because 1) They are made in England, which is VERY rare now days 2) They produce some real classic looking pieces but always with a modern twist 3) very sophisticated 4) Good quality with good price point and 5) THEY COME IN ASIAN FIT IN EUROPE! I shout the last point because I cannot express how rare it is that a brand offers Asian fit, in Europe.

All frames are made out of acetate, my favourites are Blake and Wellington. Blake is a good strong statement piece within the collection if you ask me, available in two colourways- Storm Grey and Indigo Ember. Priced at £240.

Then for the new optical style, I am a fan of the Wellington, it’s got a bit of the 80’s vibe going on and  I am all over the Crystalline Tort. I do have a thing for crystal frames. They just look really cool I think. They may not be suitable for everyone but if you can pull it off, you should go for it. The Wellington is available in three colourways- Black Slate, Indigo Ember and Crystalline Tort. Priced at £230, the Crystalline is funky but if you take a look at the black slate, the colour makes the frame look so smart and they will instantly smarten up any look.
