What have you all been doing during this very testing time? For me, as a mum of two small children, I am certainly pretty busy but I know that is not the case for everyone.
If I wasn’t a mother, what would I be doing during this lockdown period? I have been giving it a lot of thought and you know what? I think I would actually use the time to do something arty and probably sewing. I studied art for my A-levels and went onto study fashion design in university so I absolutely love doing both, I miss having the time.
I do believe at a time like this, it is good to do things you enjoy and I find being creative can be a great way to remove yourself from stress and free your mind a little. So, when I saw Ronit Furst inviting everyone to complete an eyewear design challenge, I thought to myself, what a lovely idea.
If you head to the Ronit Furst Facebook or Instagram page, there is a link where you can download the templates for different glasses shapes. Then you just simply draw and be creative- use as many colours as you want, do a really intricate pattern or a really funky design. There is no limit to how creative you can be.
It sounds like there is a chance that Ronit Furst could turn your drawing into a reality. They haven’t said exactly what that means but I think there is a chance they will actually make some of the designs into frames. I will certainly be getting my colouring pencils out for some doodling. I may even get my five-year-old daughter to draw one too because I think it will be something fun for her to do.
Get creative, get your colouring pencils out and doodle some glasses designs peeps. Here is the link to download the templates and get creative.
