At this very strange time we are all currently experiencing I think it is truly amazing when I hear or see someone launching their own business. It must be very exciting but daunting at the same time. When I got this press release I was interested to read more because it is a new brand launching in the middle of the pandemic, the eyewear is created for independent women and it is a British brand. I think this is a good combination.
From my understanding the designer behind the brand is Caron Kraitt who has over 20 years of experience in the industry with a background in dispensing. If you know how to dispense a pair of glasses then you will understand facial proportions, fit and balance. Three quite important factors to consider when designing glasses.
Obviously with the current COVID situation, I can only take a look at the collection via their new online shop. So, what do I think? The glasses look super elegant with some very wearable shapes and some of the colours were simply beautiful. However, noting can quite beat looking at frames first hand I’d like to play with them to see how they feel and fit so I cannot give my full view on the collection.
Here are some facts for you about the frames. The frames are all designed in Britain, crafted from hand-polished acetate and ION-plated to enhance durability, superfine, lightweight high-grade metal. From my understanding, currently the optical frames are sold via independent opticians and the sunglasses are available online starting from around £145. If you are after some super elegant, feminine looking frames, designed by a woman, for us women, then take a look at their brand new online shop. Why not support a new business.
I am writing this blog post as my way of helping to promote a new brand especially during these very testing times (this is not a paid for ad or advertorial).
