The Great British Bake Off 2022

The Great British Bake Off is indeed back on our telly screens in the UK and I have a confession to make… I am actually getting a bit bored of watching it. There, I have said it! I mean I do watch it because I want to see what glasses Prue is wearing but I have to say her glasses are about as disappointing and boring as I now find the show. I used to really enjoy watching Bake Off but I think it has been on our screens for so many years now that I am finally getting a bit sick of the formula of the show.

When I watch it, I don’t actually fully concentrate. It is more like background noise for me whilst I am busy doing life/mum admin. Last year when Bake Off was on, I didn’t actually do any blog posts on Prue’s eyewear and that is because I mentioned them on all social media. But this year, I thought I will do a blog post and do nothing on social media.

In a nutshell, for Bake Off 2022 Prue is wearing all the same glasses from last year. That may be to do with Channel 4 getting sick and tired of people trying to find out what glasses she is wearing or some sort of advertising law. Who knows. I am literally guessing and assuming so take what I say with a pinch of salt.

What brand?

For this season so far we have seen Prue in a red frame, blue frame and a pink frame. The red frame is by Cubitts and the style looks like Judd from their website. The blue frame is Ray-ban but I have no idea what style and it is literally the worst frame on her face. They do not fit her properly and every time I see them on her it makes me cringe. Who is the stylist? Seriously! Then the pink pair is by Theo and I think it is style Obus.
