Glastonbury 2023 is probably the first one where I’ve look at images emerging from the press and feel it is 100% back to the pre-covid vibe. The celebs and fashionistas were out in force at this year’s Glastonbury.
Festival fashion is always a fantastic way to spot something fun and something a bit out there, but what about the eyewear since it was baking hot in the UK over the Glastonbury weekend? It was so sunny, sunglasses were the essential fashion accessory. So what shapes and styles did I spot?
From looking at all the images that are floating around on social media, I think the prominent style spotted is the round oval 90’s shape, they are not the tiny oval shape that you may be thinking of. For the revamp 2023 version, they are bigger and almost a bit goggle like and some may even have that cateye corner flick vibe. Here are some of may favs. Oh and I am throwing in Stomzy’s heart shape glasses in as the header image, just for fun 😉 I believe they are promo glasses from Spotify.
