The Barbie Movie Eyewear

Barbie the Movie has hit record box office in the first week of it being released, and it is still going strong in the second week. As soon as I saw some images lurking around on the internet I knew I had to see the film, whether it is good or bad. The outfit brought back some fond memories. I remember when those Barbies were released when I was a little girl. And have you seen the eyewear? HELLLOOOO! Lots of sunglasses were featured in that film and in my opinion, that alone is worth watching.

I know over the years Barbie has caused many debates because some people feel Barbie set an unrealistic standard of beauty which I totally understand. However, even with that in mind. As a child I loved playing with them and I never wanted to look like them, I just loved the fact they can be whatever is in my imagination and I used to love doing their hair too. So I had a real nostalgic feeling inside when I watched the film.

I absolutely loved the movie! It had strong hidden messages and I liked how they made it relatable to today’s world by giving a modern twist to a controversial doll. Enough about the film, what about the eyewear? There were plenty of them and I will split this Barbie eyewear post into 2 parts because there are so many.
