The Barbie Movie Eyewear
The Barbie movie has already been released for almost four weeks. Have you watched it yet, or have you already watched it countless times because you absolutely adored it? I absolutely adored it! However, I must confess that I only had the pleasure of watching it once. And guess what? I’ve already published a blog post on Barbie eyewear, but there were simply too many captivating scenes featuring eyewear to fit into a single post. Therefore, I present to you the second instalment! Let’s face it, Barbie-mania is still going from strength to strength and I loved the movie for giving me such a nostalgic feeling of my childhood.
In the last blog post, I covered two iconic Barbie moments from the Movie, the black and white swimwear Barbie which is based on one of the first-ever Barbies launched back in the 60s. The second look is the image that has been floating around on social where Barbie is driving and Ken is looking at her with an admiring look.
In this blog post I am basing the eyewear on two other memorable scenes from the film and that is the flat feet moment and the girl power moment where Barbie and two humans are working together to get Barbieland back in order.
Barbie Flat Feet Moment
If you have watched the film then you know exactly why this scene was a memorable scene. Barbie, known for her perfectly arched feet, made a shocking discovery; her feet were now completely flat. The news of Barbie’s unexpected transformation left other Barbies feeling both appalled and disgusted. Get the look with these sunglasses…
First up, we have Erkers in style Fox Park.
Then we have Say Oh in style Deco.
The next look is from the girl power scene where Barbie needs to gain back control of Barbieland. There are many styles of sunglasses, but I am concentrating on Margot Robbie’s character – stereotypical Barbie.
First up we have Erkers in style Market.
Then this is my personal favourite from Vanni in style VS3020.
Whether you loved or hated the movie, Barbie is here to stay a little longer and if you want to get the look with your eyewear then I hope you have found this blog post helpful.
