Milano, 18 January 2024 – The countdown is on for the 52nd edition of MIDO, the prestigious international eyewear show. Set to take place from February 3rd to 5th at Fieramilano Rho, this event is an anticipated industry highlight, bringing together opticians, buyers, journalists, and trade professionals from across the globe. Record-Breaking Exhibitor Participation
This year’s MIDO is shaping up to surpass all expectations. With around 1,200 exhibitors from nearly 45 countries, the event is expanding to occupy 7 pavilions – one more than last year. Key international players from Italy, Germany, France, the UK, Spain, the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea will be showcasing in diverse areas like the Fashion District, MIDO Tech, and Lenses.
A Hub of Creativity and Technology
The show areas, each with a unique focus, include Design, Design Tech, Academy, Start-up, and FAiR East. These spaces will foster creativity, innovation, and business opportunities, highlighting the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of the Far East and beyond.

These talks aim to continue the dialogue beyond the event, throughout 2024.

Empowering Women and Sustainability in Eyewear
MIDO 2024 also sees the launch of initiatives like Empowering Optical Women Leadership and the CSE – Certified Sustainable Eyewear program. These events underscore the industry’s commitment to women’s leadership and sustainability. Starting this year, all events will be held in the new OTTICLUB area, located in Pavilion 1.
